Walking the Streets

Single Images | Street | Texas

Back when I was living in Los Angeles, I walked the streets a lot and practice the way I would photograph people and moments that would happen. I took me years to get brave and good at this and I mean years. There was a time I would get three feet of a person and make frames of them. Since COVID I have not been out as much on the streets. Today I went out for the second time this year to photograph the downtown area. Now, Dallas is a really difficult place to take part in street photography, there are not a lot of people walking around and there really is not anything going on. In Los Angeles you would always find so much culture and just random shit happening. When I go out the goal is to break personal boundaries and to create one interesting photo. So here is that photo.

I like this photo because its a scene I have not seen a lot of in the last year. Two strangers talking to one another without a mask.
